    Every region in Victoria has its own unique atmosphere, landscape and range of experience.

    Melbourne is unique in that, you can experience 4 seasons in a day in Melbourne itself. Meaning that, you may experience rain, wind and sun within the same day; hence students are adviced to carry a jersey with them most of the time even in summer. In summer, the temperature is between 23 – 40c and in winter it is lovely between 8 – 1 c.

    The pace in Melbourne is average, being not too fast neither slow. Hence it is a good place to stay and study.

    It is easy to travel around Melbourne as the public transport is convenient The public trains, trams and buses running from early morning till late at night. Besides this, the price of a car is fairly cheap in Melbourne. For AUD 1000.00 you can get a small car to travel around for the duration of your studies although mind you the costs to upkeep a car can be a little high if you choose wrongly.

    There are many cultures who live within Melbourne peacefully. You won’t have to worry about racism in Melbourne.

    Melbourne city offers you a large variety of food and wine to suit almost all dining preferences.

    However to dine in a restaurant or café, it is more expensive compared to Malaysia. A plate of chicken rice may cost you about AUD 12.00 compared to RM 3.50. However you don’t have to eat out all the time because you can buy your grocery from the local market and cook yourself and have a little taste of home.

    If you are Muslim, you don’t have to worry about halal food as they do have a Muslim market too.

    There are a lot of things to do within and in the surrounding outskirts of Melbourne. You won’t be bored with Melbourne because there are parks, theaters, markets for you to visit. If you want to venture to the outskirts of Melbourne, you can take a journey on the Great Ocean Road to see the 12 Apostles and to Dandenong Range to see the mountains and forests.

    Besides they have different type of festivals and events throughout the year in Melbourne such as their famous Melbourne Racing Day in October/November.
