Each year DET (Department of Education and Training) through Canning College offers academic scholarships to international students studying WAUFP and Year 12 courses.

There are two levels of scholarships

1. Full Fee Scholarship valued at $12,900AUD (Current 2008)

2. Partial Fee Awards $4,000AUD (Current 2008)

A Book Scholarship valued at $500AUD (Current 2007)  is offered to meritorious students who do not win a scholarship.

Each year Canning College offers two scholarships to outstanding Year 11 students.

These scholarships are valued at $2000AUD (Current 2007) and are awarded at the end of the academic year.

This Scholarship applies to students studying the WAUFP course the following year at Canning College.

Diploma and Certificate IV Applicants

The College also offers the following Scholarships based on academic merit.

1. Top Level applicants from overseas are eligible for $1500AUD (Current 2007)  awards.

2. Top Level applicants from Australia are eligible for $1000AUD (Current 2007)  awards.
